A little bit about...

Hello! My name is Karyn Beedy, and I would like to share with you a little bit about my journey, and how I can help you on your own journey with Ayurveda!

Years ago, I experienced an accident in which my vagus nerve was damaged. As an artist, I felt like that damage to my nervous system, and all of the fallout from it, had drained my creative energy. It is hard to be creative when you are not feeling good, or when you are worried or stressed out. Balancing the health of your nervous system can help you to restore your creative energy, and help to relieve the stress that affects your body, mind, and spirit.

When your nervous system is out of balance it can create problems in how you function, and in the quality of your life. A nervous system imbalance can leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and physically and emotionally drained. 

 

As creative individuals, we thrive on energy in order to create our art. Being a creative also requires concentration, a clear and focused mind, and an energy inside of us that is capable and strong enough to allow the creativity to emerge.

 

Nervous system imbalance can make it very difficult to focus, difficult to sleep, can cause anxiety, can cause physical problems with your digestion, problems with your skin, and can cause hair loss.

After years of research and different approaches to healing, I found Ayurveda. I became a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor, with a focus on Nervous System Imbalance. Do what you know best right? I started Whole Health Ayurveda with the goal to help others that are experiencing imbalances, nervous system or otherwise. To me, there is nothing better than guiding someone on their path to a healthier body, mind, and spirit!

A little bit about Ayurveda...

​

Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word that means “the science of life and longevity”. It is an ancient natural wisdom of health and healing. As a science of self-healing, Ayurveda encompasses diet and nutrition, lifestyle, exercise, rest and relaxation, meditation, breathing exercises, and medicinal herbs, along with cleansing and rejuvenation practices for healing the body, mind, and spirit.

 

Ayurveda is about balance - balance in nature, balance in lifestyle, balance in diet, and balance in the physical and spiritual bodies – including the nervous system.

 

Using Ayurvedic principles, I would like to help you learn how to BALANCE your mind, body and spirit. RESET your nervous system, and  RESTORE your creative energy.

I am here as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor to help guide you through the process of balancing your nervous system, and bringing your creative energy back up to optimum functioning levels.
